I Can't Make Up My Mind

I just took this personality quiz and my results were:

Feels trapped in a distressing or uncomfortable situation and seeking some way of gaining relief. Able to achieve satisfaction from sexual activity.

I think this quiz might have been created by a frickin genius.

However, this evening I've been thinking about the actual possibility of labor, based on what I can remember of my labor with Miss E. (My memory has dulled a lot of the pain.) And I suddenly realized I'm not actually that keen to go through it again. Granted I don't have a lot of choice, or rather, I made my choice 9 months ago. But, um, labor hurt. So I guess what I'm trying to say is, I'm okay with a little more waiting.

Do you medicate? If not, it helps. I promise.

Oh-- and a new, worth-reading 'scary' book---The Long Walk, Stephan King. Not scary per se, but hard to put down. I think you'd enjoy it!

I've been thinking about labor a lot lately, too. Um, I'm SCARED. I don't know if it's a good or bad thing that I've never been through it before and don't know what to expect...But yeah. NOT looking forward to it. I just keep trying to remind myself that the trade-off is totally worth it!

That was exactly how I felt. I had a c-section, of course, but the recovery was still painful. And I also felt like waiting, because I knew taking care of two babies would be hard.

So, take your sweet time baby boy!

LOL!

We asked the magic 8 ball if you will have your baby by Thursday and it said "Ask again Later." We asked it if you will have your baby by Tuesday? It said, "My sources say No." So you definitely have till Wednesday unless we start doing actual Scientific testing versus pure chance.

I'm sorry I haven't been able to comment as often as I would have liked to lately. I am really excited for you and can't wait to see the announcement on your blog! The pain... it sucks, but yes, is totally worth it. Good luck. I'll be thinking of you and praying for a short labor!

I haven't experienced labor, but I am a big wuss when it comes to pain. You should demand an epidural as soon as you walk in the hospital doors.

Does that mean that you won't be achieving satisfaction from sexual activity any time soon :)

Hey, that description sounds just like the end of my pregnancies too! If fact, that description sounds a lot like my life in general.... hmm....

You will be a champ, however, it is nice that you are so patient about it all!

Lots of people have told me that their second time giving birth was considerably better than the first, so hopefully it wont be awful:) I don't know if they give you hard core drugs after regular births, but if they do my advice is to take darvaset instead of vicodin and alternate with some heavy duty IB profin. You get relief without being in a weird fog. I'm sending happy birthing thoughts your way, good luck!
