This movie is really quite dreadful. First of all, Patrick Dempsey is borderline to begin with. In this movie, he plays an extremely annoying womanizer who is supposedly so charming that women are willing to sleep with him despite his misogynistic ways. Oh and the main female character, a genuine, sweet girl (Michelle Monaghan) is also fine with being his best friend while he sleeps with most of the female population of NYC. It only goes downhill from there. The last twenty minutes of the film are composed of literally every cliche in the canon of chick flicks.Only watch this movie if:
- You love Patrick Dempsey so much it has turned off all your brain cells
- You enjoy throwing up in your mouth
- Your queue is absolutely empty AND your husband is out of town AND you are bored.

I have never understood the whole fascination with Patrick Dempsey. I know I am in the minority of most women are age, but I DO NOT like Grey's Anatomy and I DO NOT find him attractive at all. The hair-nose combo is NOT good. I will definitely be skipping this movie.

Patrick's Dempsey's best role ever was the geek in Can't Buy Me Love.

I love Patrick Dempsey from Cant But Me Love. I watched Made of Honor, and thought it was mildly cute, but was left pretty dang dissapointed. Oh well.

You saved us all from a huge waste of time. If you want a fun/weird movie watch Intolerable Cruelty. Then again it may just be one of those weird movies that only I get.
We disliked this movie as well! I did not believe that Patrick Dempsey was a womanizer for one minute. He was miscast. I thought the ending to be horribly stupid.
I couldn't believe they kissed in front of everyone at her wedding (to someone else). I am too rational for these types of shows. I have to believe it would happen and I think the girl was too nice and respectful to do something like that to her nice fiance. My husband tells me to stop criticizing and enjoy the movies we watch. Yet, so many movies these days are ridiculous that I can't keep quiet! Hmmm, how can we create a scenario where the destined lovers should kiss and realize their true love for one another? I can't imagine that a marriage would even change a true womanizer. All you would really get is heartache and an STD. Grandma's necklace was also totally disgusting! What a cheap, cheap attempt for laughs. I may have to start renting only black and white movies.
